Five-member virtual girl group OWIS drew global fans' attention with a dreamy, refreshing visual on a midsummer night.
OWIS (Serin, Haru, Summer, Soi, Yuni) released their summer edition photoshoot with fashion magazine Dazed Korea on their official social media on the 6th, instantly becoming the center of attention.
In the released photos, OWIS poses against green grass and a clear sky, showing off fresh "Gen-Z" visuals. The members used colorful props such as soap bubbles, ice cream and fruit to exude a bright, cheerful charm that makes you smile just by looking. From group shots on a crosswalk showing harmonious chemistry to individual shots with fruit backdrops such as kiwi, lemon and strawberry creating a fairytale-like mood, they delivered pure "visual bliss."
In an interview conducted alongside the photoshoot, OWIS members' earnest feelings and special affection for their fandom IZZ were revealed, adding warmth.
When asked first about the most memorable moment since debut, member Soi answered, "The excitement of waiting in real time with the members for the pre-debut trailer is still vivid," and Yuni recalled the emotional moment, saying, "I truly felt I had debuted when I first stood on the music show stage."
In particular, leader Serin said, "During video call fan sign events, whenever the IZZ light up with smiles or cry and comfort us, I feel they are truly warm people," expressing heartfelt gratitude to fans and evoking deep emotion.
OWIS, under All My ANIC DOTS, surprised the music industry as a major rookie by secretly revealing their debut trailer at the 40th Golden Disc Awards in January. They officially debuted in March with mini album 1 "MUSEUM" and have been receiving passionate love from fans worldwide with an original worldview and solid vocal skills befitting a name that means "you can meet only in dreams."
