On the 6th, the tvN STORY 'What's the point of leaving it behind' featured Ko Doo-shim, Jo Ha-na and Park Soon-chun.
Ko Doo-shim said of the late Kim Su-mi, "Sumi unni is two years older than me. At 32 she played a grandmother (in Rural Diary). Il-yong's son is two years older," which shocked viewers.
She went on to add, "Looking at Sumi unni's beauty without makeup, she doesn't look like a grandmother. (If you remove the makeup) that's where it's Western. Her heel and outfit were stunning."
Ko Doo-shim said, "At first the casting was done that way. I hesitated when I heard that the son was a senior. In the predecessor's generation there was a filmmaker who had a grandmother. I used that grandmother's characteristics. If Sumi unni had just come and acted, she wouldn't have been able to perform like this," praising Kim Su-mi's passion for acting.
