The undisputed summer queen, the group Red Velvet is coming back.
SM Entertainment said on Aug. 6, "Red Velvet will release their new mini album "Velvet Summer" and make a comeback at 6 p.m. on Aug. 3."
With this, Red Velvet will return as a full group for the first time in 2 years and 2 months since releasing 'Cosmic' in June 2024. In particular, Red Velvet, having produced many summer hits such as "Red Flavor", "Power Up" and "Queendom", is drawing attention as the return of the summer queen.
Red Velvet's new summer album "Velvet Summer" is composed of five tracks, including the title track "Surfin Boy." Filled with Red Velvet's signature summer songs, it is expected to captivate listeners this summer.
Before the release of "Velvet Summer," Red Velvet will meet fans by holding the "2026 Red Velvet FAN-CON 'A Day in Red & Velvet'" at Hwa-jeong Gymnasium, Korea University, in Seoul on Aug. 1–2.
