With the cast of 'Goblin' reuniting for the 10th anniversary, behind-the-scenes stories hidden in the Revenant and Samsin halmae makeup were revealed.
On the 5th, episode 2 of tvN's Together and brilliant god - Goblin 10th anniversary trip showed Gong Yoo, Lee Dongwook, Kim Go-eun and Yoo In-na taking a memory trip to Gangneung.
Gong Yoo said "Even though 10 years have passed, whenever winter comes I often hear people say 'I think of Goblin'" and noted "It is still a work that feels like a brilliant winter to me."
The members prepared a 10th anniversary party and awaited familiar faces. When Gong Yoo asked "What year is Lee El?", Yoo In-na said "She is the same age as Lee El" and expressed hope that "I wish she would come." She then mentioned the names Yook Sung-jae and Yoon Kyung-ho and said "I think Yook Sung-jae will definitely come. It will be welcome."
Remembering the past, Kim Go-eun and Yoo In-na laughed that "we were really young" and joked, "Then are we old now?" The members replied, "No. It looks like a photo taken not long ago," showing their unchanged atmosphere.
At the party, Lee El as Samsin halmae, Park Kyung-hye as the virgin ghost, and Kim Byung-chul, the subject of the 'scene of collapse' photo, made surprise appearances that delighted everyone.
In particular, Kim Byung-chul revealed the makeup story for the Revenant. He said "I painted my tongue with edible coloring" and revealed the secret of the intense Revenant look, adding that "the makeup alone took about two hours."
Lee El said "Samsin halmae took even longer. The initial tests alone took 2 to 3 hours, and with the makeup it took about 8 hours in total," surprising everyone.
Lee El also said "I created the Samsin halmae voice myself" and noted "My natural voice is midlow, so I tried to make use of that," sharing the character's origin story and drawing attention.
