The group (G)I-DLE returned with a heat-fighting summer song.
On the 6th, at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, the group's ninth mini album We made media showcase was held.
We made is the group's new release unveiled six months after this year's digital single Mono (Feat. SKAI worldwide), featuring a more pop-oriented charm than before. The title track Gimme Dat Love depicts a thirst-like love when two people are strongly drawn to each other, honestly expressing the spreading feelings of love like gaze, touch and temperature.
Also included are Wooyeon's self-composed song that highlights the members' outstanding vocal skills, Love Is Pain, and the positive, upbeat daily life song Morning, among other sensuous and diverse tracks that are expected to captivate listeners' ears.
Ahead of the full-fledged comeback, Miyeon said, "I still can't believe it's already the ninth mini album." Miyeon added, "We're back with a summer song after a long time, and it's a song that feels a little hotter and heat-fighting compared with the tracks we showed before, so I hope many people will enjoy it this summer. We prepared our best, so please cheer for us a lot and give us your love."
Meanwhile, the group's ninth mini album We made and the title track Gimme Dat Love are being released today (the 6th) at 6 p.m.
