Comedian Shin Gi-ru revealed an anecdote related to the death of his mother.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel 'PungjaTV' uploaded a video titled 'Pungiru's full-calorie pig party Shin Gi-ru's failed quick-love advice.'
That day Shin Gi-ru said that he had a funeral for his mother in March. He said, "If I stay still, I keep thinking about it, so whenever I had free time I went somewhere."
He added, "There is an old saying that's not wrong: the living live on, don't they. People live and eat. So it was more fortunate than I thought. I thought I would lose my appetite for six months."
Pungja, who said she empathized with the pain because her parents died early, reacted, "It's so sad but at some point you get hungry," and Shin Gi-ru joked, "I was hungry starting the day after the funeral."
Pungja recalled, "People ate a little at the funeral," adding, "It's something we all inevitably have to go through, but when my sister, whom I love so much, suddenly (my mother) passed away abruptly, I felt so bad that I cried even when I went in."
Pungja continued, "We both cried as soon as we saw each other's faces. But saying, 'Sister, are you okay?' she looked at the clothes and the black outfit had lace and gold-colored buttons in the shape of flowers," which made people laugh.
Pungja continued, "I said, 'Sister, what's with the mourner's outfit?' and she said there were no clothes so the stylist hurriedly made one. She was wearing an outfit for broadcasting," she recalled.
Hearing this, Shin Gi-ru said, "A fat person can't even hold a funeral. Still, since I'm an entertainer, at least those kinds of clothes were prepared," noting that the women's funeral attire given by the funeral director did not fit, and the men's funeral attire looked too thug-like in the photo.
Shin Gi-ru confessed, "Still, because the mourner was listed as a daughter, I felt awkward, so I hurriedly asked the stylist for the most plain black shirt among those I wore on broadcasts," and said he wore Yumin-sang's clothes with the size reduced, which drew laughter. <
