(G)I-DLE's Minnie directly acknowledged the 'rich-kid rumors' in Thailand and made a generous invitation to her resort.
On the 5th broadcast, SBS variety show Running Man featured (G)I-DLE's Miyeon and Minnie as guests.
That day, members brought up the 'Thailand rich-kid rumors,' saying "I heard she has three houses plus a park and a gym" and "Some say being a singer is just a hobby."
Minnie smiled and said "It's true that being a singer is my dream," and "I'm going to Thailand at the end of this month. Come visit our resort," generously inviting them. The members reacted with surprise, asking "Does your family have a resort?" and saying "See, I told you she's rich," and when photos of the resort run by Minnie's mother were revealed, they couldn't hide their admiration.
When Yu Jae-seok asked "Miyeon, have you been to Minnie's resort?", Miyeon testified, "I haven't been to the resort yet, but I've been to the house. There are multiple houses," surprising everyone. Minnie explained, "It's not in Bangkok but in the provinces," but the members cheered, "The provinces are nice too. We want to go."
At one point Minnie said, "Running Man can film at our resort," and offered, "I'll cover all the lodging costs," showing a lavish flex. But when Jee Seokjin asked, "What about the meals?", Minnie replied, "Meals will be provided, but the meal costs are a bit..." saying she would only provide accommodation, which drew laughter. The members expressed anticipation, saying, "Let's talk about summer vacation later."
Also that day, Minnie shared a curious fortune-telling anecdote she experienced in Thailand. Minnie said, "There is a fortune-teller my family consults," and added, "Before I came to Korea, they said, 'You should go abroad; you'll do well. Be sure to go.'" She continued, "They predicted I would be in a Thai movie and guessed the company I would sign with," and revealed, "They also said I will film a Thai movie next year," surprising everyone.
At the intriguing story, members repeatedly expressed admiration, and Miyeon added once more, "Minnie has multiple houses in Thailand." In response, Yu Jae-seok and other members said, "Minnie, today send your parents the photos we took together," and "We want to treat you better," showing affection for the Thai "princess" Minnie and bringing laughter.
