Broadcaster Ji Yeon-soo revealed that she has wrapped up life in Jeju and is starting anew with her son in a 15-pyeong duplex home.
On the 6th, a video titled 'Ji Yeon-soo reveals her first home standing on her own!!!' was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Ji Yeon-soo's Yeonsurobda.'
That day, Ji Yeon-soo showed for the first time the home where she lives with her son Minsu. It was a compact space with a duplex layout of about 15 pyeong.
Introducing the home, Ji Yeon-soo also spoke candidly. She said, "When you watch celebrity YouTubers, their homes are really glamorous and pretty. I feel embarrassed and worried because I think they will be compared to mine." She added, "Some might think, 'Do you raise a child in such a small home?' but children grow up fine in spaces smaller than ours. If they eat well, live cleanly and have enough love, I think they can grow up healthy anywhere," she said, expressing her conviction.
She also revealed the reason she gave up life in Jeju. Ji Yeon-soo said, "I was doing well in Jeju, but I learned that my mother was diagnosed with cancer," and explained, "I wanted to be close to my mother, so I hurriedly packed up and came up here."
She also shared that she is currently working part-time at a beef soup restaurant to make a living. She said, "I prefer to go to work in the morning and work at a place where lunch service is busy," and introduced her daily routine, saying, "After finishing work, I take care of Minsu in the afternoon," which drew attention.
Meanwhile, Ji Yeon-soo married former U-KISS member Elly in 2014 and had a son, Minsu, in 2016, but they divorced in 2020. She is now raising her son alone and continuing a new life. Recently, she left Jeju and revealed that she has started again near her family, receiving much encouragement.
