Comedian Kim Ji-min confessed to being bullied during her school days.
On the Apr. 4 broadcast of SBS Plus' Lee Ho-seon's Cider, a story about a daughter who became a school violence perpetrator was revealed under the theme "I Saw The Devil, violence that became everyday life."
The writer said she found out that after entering high school her daughter, who had changed, bullied a student together with friends and even bought expensive luxury cosmetics with the money taken from the victim. The couple were greatly shocked to learn that their daughter was a perpetrator of school violence.
Lee Ho-seon firmly pointed out, "If you say, 'My child is not that kind of child,' it will never be fixed. It is simply wrongdoing." He added, "You must hold the child accountable. The school should impose discipline. The victim must be made to receive an apology."
In particular, Kim Ji-min confessed to being repeatedly bullied during her school days. Kim Ji-min said, "I reported to the school office, and they had filled a walker with water," and added, "I still remember the names of the two perpetrators. I still want an apology," making the studio solemn.
Lee Ho-seon advised, "Violent dynamics arise within a group," and said, "Victims must be protected unconditionally, and even belatedly they should receive counseling for recovery." Finally, he warned school violence perpetrators, "You too will surely become victims. Apologize and never participate in such acts again."
