'Mrs. New Jersey' Son Tae-young expressed a desire to go to Korea.

Visiting a fellow parent's home, Son Tae-young had a pleasant time eating a meal and dessert and was asked, "Sister, are you thinking of going back to Korea too?" Son Tae-young sighed deeply, and the acquaintance said, "Don't go~ where would you go."
Asked, "Will you go after the kids are all raised?", Son Tae-young said, "I think I'll go back and forth. I like it here too. It has become home now," but also honestly said, "To be frank, when I think about work I want to go.."

Another acquaintance said, "Recently I seriously talked with my husband about returning to Korea. When our child went to college she was very rude to her mother. I said, 'If you want to go to Korea, go.'" She added, "But later when I said I felt hurt, he said, 'She knows I'm here because of you, and now she can live on her own, so don't worry and go.' My husband had never thought about it either, but he said, 'Let's think about it,' something like that," she confessed.
Meanwhile, Son Tae-young married fellow actor Kwon Sang-woo in 2008, and the following year she gave birth to her first son, Luk-hee, and in 2015 she welcomed her second child, daughter Ri-ho. Since 2019, she has been living in New Jersey, United States, for her children's education. Her elder son Luk-hee is facing college entrance exams this year, and her daughter is 12 years old.
