Broadcaster Lee Sang-min's income for last year was revealed.
On the Wave original "Blood Game X" released on the 3rd, P1 members were shown revealing their annual salaries to each other ahead of choosing team funds.
That day, the P1 team, who entered the dormitory first, saw the team funds formed from a maximum of 280 million won to a minimum of 180 million won depending on members' salaries, and suggested sharing their incomes with each other. In response, Lee Tae-kyun said 50 million won, announcer Park Ji-min said 80 million won, and former baseball player turned broadcaster Jeong Geun-woo said 200 million won.
Finally, Lee Sang-min shared his previous year's income, saying "I made 1.5 billion," and the cast chose the team funds formed from their own salaries.
Lee Tae-kyun said, "1.5 billion.. I didn't see many people who could overturn Lee Sang-min hyung's salary," and Lee Sang-min explained, "There is no need to gamble. I'm the biggest, so I said let's choose mine. Safely."
The disclosure of Lee Sang-min's salary is receiving more attention because of his long-standing debt. Lee Sang-min took on about 6.9 billion won in debt after a business failure in 2005.
Afterwards, Lee Sang-min paid off that debt for more than 17 years and recently announced he had cleared all his debts. When the scale of income that allowed Lee Sang-min to pay off such debt was revealed, it became a topic of conversation.<
