Earlier, Kim Da-ye explained the reason she did not send their daughter to daycare in April. She said, "A father who met his daughter about 20 years later feels regretful about each day and treasures her. There is not enough time even to make memories diligently. My body is tired, but I am with Jae-i."

Meanwhile, Park Soo-hong and Kim Da-ye married in 2021, and in 2024 they welcomed their first daughter, Jae-i.
