Former group Fiestar member Linzy announced her wedding news a day before the ceremony.
Linzy said on the 4th, "To my beloved fans. Today I have news I want to share with you carefully. Even though it is happy news, I am deeply sorry to be telling you so suddenly and I can imagine how surprised many of you must be. Because you have always believed in me and waited for me, and because you have shared not only my performances and songs but also moments of my life, I have long felt sorry that I could not tell you earlier or in a better way," she began.
She continued, "Because I know how you might receive this news, I am very cautious even as I write. Everyone, I... am getting married! A precious person has come into my life who steadfastly protects and supports my ordinary days. Through our time together I learned the desire to become a warmer and stronger person, and we decided to walk the rest of our lives together," she said.
She added, "Also, above all, the first people who came to mind when I wanted to share this news were the fans. Thanks to the support you gave me, I endured many moments and was able to get back up and take the stage again," and expressed her gratitude, saying, "To me, fans are not simply people who cheer me on but precious people who have shared many scenes of my youth and dreams."
She also said, "If you were surprised or felt hurt, I will not take those feelings lightly. I would appreciate it if you could slowly and kindly view this. I am truly sorry for startling you with such sudden news."
Finally, she added, "I will not forget the support I received from you, and on stage I will be more diligent, and in life I will be warmer and more responsible in return. I am truly grateful to all of you who have always stood by my side, and I love you very much."
Linzy is becoming a married woman today (the 5th) after holding a wedding with a non-celebrity man at a location in Seoul. She becomes the third Fiestar member to be married. Previously, Jei married in 2020 and Yeol married in 2024.
Linzy debuted with Fiestar in 2012. However, the group disbanded in 2018. Linzy made her musical debut in 2013 with the musical "High School Musical" and later appeared in numerous musicals including "Hero," "Gwanghwamun Love Song," "King Arthur," "Jack the Ripper," "Dracula," "The Three Musketeers," and "The Show! Shilla Hada."
