On the 4th, a video titled 'Idols live the same way (ft. Choi Yoojung)' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Annyeong Saemi.' That day, comedian Park Saemi visited Choi Yoojung's home and spent time talking with her.
During their conversation, Park Saemi said, "On camera I look very puffy. People ask me why I'm so skinny in person, but that's not the case when you're next to an idol," and she said she felt uncomfortable being captured by the same camera as Choi Yoojung.
She went on to confess, "I tried diet pills in my twenties," and added, "Now the dangers of those pills are well known, but they weren't then. I thought it was an advantage because the pills suppress appetite, so I took them," drawing attention.
Park Saemi, who said she took diet pills without much thought, said, "One day I decided to stay at a hotel with a friend. While washing up I felt like someone at the door was looking to hurt me. That was a side effect. It's paranoia alone," she said.
In response, Choi Yoojung empathized, saying she had also tried diet pills, "When I was a trainee the company told me to lose weight so I tried pills."
Choi Yoojung recalled, "I was at a normal weight, but they kept telling me to lose weight, and because I desperately wanted to debut I took them. I kept it secret from the company," and said, "Side effects included dry mouth and bad breath, palpitations, nausea, and dizziness."
