(G)I-DLE's Minnie once again proved the "Thai silver spoon theory" by revealing her family's resort in Thailand.
On the 5th episode of the SBS variety show Running Man, group (G)I-DLE members Miyeon and Minnie appeared as guests.
That day Yu Jae-seok greeted Minnie saying "I really see you for the first time," and Minnie shyly replied, "I feel like I'm looking at a celebrity right now." Then Miyeon and Minnie said, "We debuted in 2018, so it's already our ninth year."
The topic then shifted to Minnie's "Thai rich person theory." When members asked, "If we go to Thailand, will you invite us to your home?", Minnie answered without hesitation, "Come visit our resort," surprising everyone.
Especially Minnie said, "Being a singer is indeed my dream," and "I'm going to Thailand at the end of this month. Come visit our resort," inviting them again. Kim Jong Kook excitedly said, "See, I told you she's rich," and the members marveled, "You have a resort at home?" and "Isn't she really a Thai princess?"
When photos of the resort actually run by Minnie's mother were revealed, everyone could not hide their surprise. Miyeon, who also appeared, said, "I still haven't been there either," drawing laughter. Minnie explained, "It's not in Bangkok but in the provinces," but the members expressed anticipation, saying, "Provinces are fine too. We want to go." Minnie even generously suggested, "Running Man can film there," adding, "I'll take care of all the accommodations," which drew admiration.
