DAY6's Dowoon expressed apologies to fans.
On the 3rd, Dowoon opened his mouth to fans while holding DAY6's 10th anniversary tour "The Decade" encore concert at KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
That day Dowoon said, "I promised that as an entertainer I would only show you my good side, but I feel sorry that I keep failing to keep that promise," and "but my heart has never changed in 10 years."
He added, "I really love you all so much. My reason for existing is to be of some help and strength to each and every one of you in any way I can."
In particular, Dowoon showed determination about DAY6 activities, saying, "I will do it for life. Please watch over me. I will keep my promises. I will do my best so as not to cause trouble to those around me, so please keep watching. I love you."
Earlier, in May Dowoon was involved in a dating rumor with YouTuber Yujiyu. At the time, the dating rumor arose after photos circulated showing the two wearing couple items and Yujiyu's pet dog in Dowoon's car, and the marriage rumor spread further with sightings of wedding planner consultations.
However, regarding the dating and marriage rumors, Dowoon's agency JYP did not make any particular statement, and Dowoon wrote on social media, "Our team will never die. I'm not going anywhere, and don't read bad posts. For the time being, even if posts about me appear, ignore them. I'm sorry for making you hurt."
Meanwhile, Dowoon was born in 1995 and debuted in 2015 as the drummer of the band DAY6. DAY6 has released many hit songs such as "You Were Beautiful," "To Be One Page," and "Welcome to the Show."
YouTuber Yujiyu was born in 1996 and currently operates a YouTube channel to communicate with viewers. She is also known as the younger sister of You Hye-ju, who appeared on "Ulzzang Generation".
