Director Jang Hang-jun revealed memories from his newlywed life with writer Kim Eun-hee to his college daughter's remarkable talents.
On the 3rd broadcast of KBS2's 'Rooftop Problem Children', Jang Hang-jun appeared and shared family stories.
That day, Jang Hang-jun opened by saying of his married life with writer Kim Eun-hee, "we don't seem to be the type to fight."
He also recalled their poor but happy newlywed days. Jang Hang-jun recalled, "If we ordered one jjampong, we'd set aside the broth and after finishing the noodles we'd add rice the next day and eat it like jjampong rice." He continued, "Before moving in, we went to the empty newlywed home and even seeing the dust-covered apartment, we were so happy thinking it was 'our space'," and said, "I remember laying out a sheet of newspaper on the floor and eating snacks and beer," creating a heartwarming moment.
Above all, the story of his daughter Yoon-seo, a sophomore in college, drew attention that day. Jang Hang-jun proudly laughed that "our daughter resembles her mother Kim Eun-hee a lot. She actually speaks more intellectually than Eun-hee," adding, "Her usual speech is also in written style. She naturally uses expressions like 'for example'."
Close friend Song Eun I also vouched for the daughter's talent. Song Eun I revealed, "Yoon-seo even writes novels herself," saying, "I received a book as a gift and on the first page it was written, 'Thank you for reading my humble writing so kindly.' That was when she was in the second year of middle school," which surprised everyone.
Jang Hang-jun beamed with pride at his daughter's exceptional writing sense and expressive ability, and in the studio admiration continued with comments like, "She truly inherited writer Kim Eun-hee's DNA unchanged."
