"Gen Z美" group KiiiKiii (KiiiKiii: Jiyu, I-sol, Sui, Ha-eum, Kiya) will appear on a major Japanese music special program.
KiiiKiii will participate in Nippon TV's large-scale music program 'THE MUSIC DAY 2026,' which will air on the 4th from 1:30 p.m.
The annual summer-broadcast 'THE MUSIC DAY' is Nippon TV's flagship large-scale music event, featuring top Japanese singers as well as global artists in large numbers. Given its consistently high ratings and publicity each year, KiiiKiii's appearance shows that their global popularity and influence within Japan are rapidly expanding.
This year's broadcast, themed "the story of music," will feature more than 60 artists, including popular Japanese singers and K-pop idol groups, who will share music representing each era and present special stages.
KiiiKiii has steadily built a presence in Japan. They made their first Japanese performance through the 'KCON JAPAN 2025' stage last year, drawing attention for their solid live skills and distinctive vocals. They also attended the 'KANSAI COLLECTION 2025 A/W' held at Kyocera Dome Osaka, further cementing their presence with unique styling and energetic performances, and they participated as the only K-pop girl group on the NHK 'MUSIC EXPO LIVE 2025' stage at Tokyo Dome.
KiiiKiii, who proved their musical achievements by placing on major charts such as Billboard Japan's 'Hot Albums,' 'Artist 100,' and 'Heatseeker Songs' with the title track "404 (New Era)" from their mini album 2 released on Jan. 26, is drawing attention over what concept and performance they will present on stage.
