Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce's movie-like love story has finally opened a new chapter with the fruition of marriage. With the world watching, the two wore matching Christian Dior Haute Couture outfits and held a lavish wedding march.
According to Page Six and other foreign media, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on the 3rd (local time) at Madison Square Garden (MSG), an iconic site in New York City, U.S.
According to a Swift spokesperson, the wedding looks the two wore that day were custom made by Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson in close collaboration with the bride and groom. In particular, the dress is known to be Jonathan Anderson's first couture wedding dress designed for a top star, drawing intense interest from the fashion world. Official wedding photos have not yet been released, raising curiosity.
Dior said in a statement that both wedding outfits were carefully made at the Dior atelier at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.
The wedding shoes the two wore down the aisle were custom products by Christian Louboutin, and Swift added dazzling beauty by wearing jewels from high-jewelry brand Cartier.
Most notably, the engagement ring sparkling on Swift's finger drew attention. The custom old mine cut diamond ring from Artifex Fine Jewelry, which became a topic of conversation when Travis Kelce personally participated in the design during last summer's engagement, perfectly completed the bride's ensemble that day.
The wedding was held on an overwhelming scale with a total of 1,000 guests, including family and celebrity friends. Instead of having bridesmaids and groomsmen, the two gave special roles to each other's siblings, showing strong family bonds.
Taylor Swift's younger brother Austin Swift served as the bride's man of honor (Man of Honor), and Travis Kelce's brother and former NFL star Jason Kelce served as the groom's best man (Best Man), gracing the occasion. The wedding was officiated by the couple's close friend and famous actor Adam Sandler, who led a cheerful yet moving ceremony.
It is known that global fashion houses such as Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, Oscar de la Renta and Vivienne Westwood fiercely competed for Swift's wedding dress. The final winner was Jonathan Anderson's Dior.
In fact, Swift had been leaving subtle hints for months. In April she paired a striped dress with a buttercup yellow "Lady Dior" bag, and in May at a Nicks stadium date she carried Dior's "Seagale" bag, repeatedly matching Dior products at public appearances and hinting at a partnership.
The two, who began dating in 2023 and have received worldwide fans' support, consummated their love by getting married in New York, where Taylor Swift has made her primary residence since 2014.<
