On the 3rd, the YouTube channel '이창섭&저창섭' uploaded a video titled "What happens when Monk Seonjae is your aunt."
That day, Lee Chang-seop spoke about his maternal aunt and temple cuisine master No. 1, Monk Seonjae, saying, "Monk Seonjae was originally Christian. My whole family was Christian. For some reason I don't know, she became a monk. I will ask. The reason she became a monk," drawing attention.
Soon after meeting Monk Seonjae, Lee Chang-seop cautiously asked, "But how did you end up becoming a monk?" Monk Seonjae opened up, saying, "I attended a Christian school," and "I went to Yongjusa for a retreat. There, they were giving lectures on the Parents' Gratitude Sutra. There are three ways to repay parental grace."
She continued, "The first, basic filial duty is to give your parents good food, good clothes and pocket money. The highest form of filial duty is to let go of attachments in your parents' minds and lead them to liberation."
Monk Seonjae said that after hearing that lecture she decided to become a monk. She said, "When I came home and told my father I was going to become a monk, he opposed it. He then said, 'When I gave birth to you I had a dream of a dragon, and I think that dream was a sign that you would become a monk,' and he gave his permission."
