Comedian Mija expressed her upset feelings over protest DMs blaming her for the stock crash.
On the 3rd, Mija uploaded a photo to her social account saying "I was upset yesterday so I had a drink."
Earlier, Mija had expressed her emptiness over the news of the sharp drop in the share price of Hynix, in which she had "all-in." Amid this, Mija shared a drinking photo and revealed her gloomy feelings, saying "DMs protesting because of Nix..."
She then verified her stock status showing a return of 11.66% and repeatedly explained, "This is no longer my fault so stop sending DMs." Nonetheless, one netizen left the comment "Hynix goes up after Mija sold and left," and Mija added a crying emoji saying "I didn't sell," conveying her grievance.
Earlier, on the 1st Mija said on YouTube that she lost 100 million won from failed construction stock investments and recounted how the share price rose the moment she sold her shares. She sobbed from the shock, but then said she "all-in" on Hynix. She said, "I suddenly checked my SNS inbox for the first time in days and there were so many messages. I wondered what this was, and they were all like, 'please remove it,' 'it's too hard please remove it. I'm really serious' coming at me. The thing that makes me the angriest is that there are stocks I never even entered. They talk about that and say, 'Did you come into this? It always goes up and then suddenly crashes, did you come in, Mija?' Do I have that kind of influence? I'm just a single retail investor."
She added, "Today is June 22. I entered (Hynix) last Friday," saying the share price rose immediately after she bought the stock and insisting, "From now on it is not my fault. My hands have left it. If it were my fault it should drop immediately, right? Anyway, it's not my fault so don't blame me."
Meanwhile, Mija is the daughter of actors Jang Gwang and Jeon Seong-ae and married comedian Kim Taehyun in 2022.
