Group WAKER member Saebyeol spreads her wings as a full-fledged 'acting idol' as the lead of a global hot project.
Saebyeol stars today (28th) at 5 p.m. (Korean time) as the lead of the school romance drama Love Class 3, which is being released simultaneously worldwide through various global OTT platforms.
The drama Love Class is a series that achieved the milestone of being the first BL (boy's love) drama in Korea to be produced through season 3. This season 3 realistically depicts the intense passion and love of youths who struggle to become K-pop idols.
In particular, characters who went their separate ways after an idol survival program reunite, and the drama densely portrays the emotional changes they experience at the fraught crossroads of choosing between dreams and love, leaving a thrilling afterglow.
In the drama, Saebyeol gives a passionate performance in the role of Hyunjae, a member of an idol group who wore the debut crown after fierce competition. Hyunjae is a multi-dimensional character who, behind a glamorous and perfect stage presence, harbors private anxieties and a whirlpool of deep emotions. Based on her solid stage experience and fundamentals accumulated as an active idol, Saebyeol is expected to fully embody the character and further raise the drama's immersion.
As a member of the talented group WAKER, she also showed the passion to directly participate in singing the drama's OST. Saebyeol personally conveys the character's poignant emotional line with her signature voice.
She reportedly completed fresh and dazzling visual chemistry while working alongside youthful actors with dazzling global fandoms, including Lee Woo-jin of the group GHOST9, rookie actor Seo Yi-han, and Thai actor Panutuch Saelee.
