ILLIT has continued its unstoppable global hit run, appearing on major U.S. Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks.
On the latest chart (May 30) released by U.S. music trade publication Billboard on the 27th, the title track "It's Me" from ILLIT (Yoonah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha)'s mini album 4 "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI" ranked 47 on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart and 95 on the Global 200 chart. With this, ILLIT succeeded in charting on both global song charts for three consecutive weeks, cementing a distinct presence.
Additionally, the mini album 4 "MAMIHLAPINATAPAI," which includes the title track, was evenly positioned in the upper ranks of detailed charts, ranking sixth on the world albums chart, 15th on the top dance albums chart and 25th on the top album sales chart.
In particular, the results in the Japanese market are truly outstanding. Oricon in Japan spotlighted on the previous day (27th) that "ILLIT's new song "It's Me" recorded the highest weekly play count among songs by foreign female groups this year (counting period May 18–24 / 5.27 million plays)." The addictive techno beat and ILLIT's unique choreography created a synergy that led to a dance challenge craze, and cumulative streaming quickly surpassed 16.38 million plays.
It ranked sixth on Billboard Japan's streaming song chart (May 27) and seventh on the Hot 100, firmly holding top positions. In addition, it rose to 13 on the global YouTube weekly trending songs chart based on worldwide YouTube data, enjoying three consecutive weeks on the chart.
The upward trend on domestic music charts is also remarkable. "It's Me" first entered the Melon weekly chart at 20 and, showing strong staying power, recently surged as high as third place. Not stopping there, it completely swept the real-time reflected charts of major domestic music platforms such as Bugs, Genie and FLO, topping them (May 25).
Meanwhile, even in short videos its intense catchiness captured ears and directly targeted trendsetters' tastes, landing at 13 on TikTok Music's Viral 50 (May 22). Currently, video content using the "It's Me" audio on TikTok has quickly surpassed 600,000 uploads.
