Girl group Mamamoo proved both formidable ticket power and exceptional visuals ahead of their full-group comeback.
Mamamoo (Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, Hwasa) will release the special single "4WARD" at 6 p.m. on June 4 through various online music sites.
Before that, on the 26th they posted the first concept photo for the special single "4WARD" on their official SNS channels, raising expectations among global fans.
In the released photos Mamamoo radiates a refreshing atmosphere, basking in warm sunlight against a verdant green field background.
In particular, their poses of leaning affectionately on one another or looking in the same direction side by side fully show the solid teamwork and strong bonds they have built over a long time. As it is the full-group album they are presenting for the first time in about 3 years and 8 months since releasing "MIC ON" in October 2022, their comfortable yet solid synergy adds to the anticipation for the new journey.
The title of this special single, "4WARD," is a portmanteau combining the number "4," which symbolizes the four members, and "forward," meaning to advance, conveying Mamamoo's message of leap and progress that they will write together.
News of the full-group comeback and the announced solo concert once again stirred the music scene. Mamamoo will open the dazzling curtain of their world tour, MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD], at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul, over three days from June 19 to 21.
The agency said that the performances sold out at lightning speed during the fan club pre-sale phase, before general ticket sales even began, for all three shows.
