He added, "We are deeply grateful to the investigative agencies for their efforts to reveal the truth based on objective evidence."

Earlier, Kim Soo-hyun became the center of controversy after being accused of having dated the late actress Kim Sae-ron from her minor years. Kim Soo-hyun acknowledged that he had dated the late Kim Sae-ron but firmly stated that they did not date while she was a minor.
