EXchange / Transit Love cast member Kwak Min-kyung revealed her feelings when her relationship with Shin Seung-yong was made public.
On the 25th a video titled "left for Okinawa the day after announcing the relationship" was released on the YouTube channel Minwawa.
That day Kwak Min-kyung greeted viewers, saying, "I am now at Incheon Airport. We are going to Okinawa. I am going on a trip with oppa," and said, "I bought coffee and donuts and am waiting before departure."
After arriving in Japan and starting their trip, the two traveled around various parts of Okinawa and had a good time. While moving to have dinner, Kwak Min-kyung said, "The place we went to on my birthday was really delicious. (Before announcing the relationship) we had to go around secretly, so we visited bars or restaurants with quiet private rooms. Now we can go openly," expressing satisfaction.
Kwak Min-kyung, who said it was the day after she posted the relationship announcement video, described the intense attention, saying, "I was bewildered. I really worried a lot, I agonized for a long time until just before opening up, and even after deciding to go public and filming, I edited the video more than 10 times."
Kwak Min-kyung said, "I worried so much that I first thought negative reactions would come, and I opened with a mindset that I could let go of everything, but the response was good, and I cried 10 minutes after the video went up."
In response, Shin Seung-yong said, "Tears of relief?" and Kwak Min-kyung replied, "Yes, tears of relief, and now I can stop worrying so much," adding, "I never imagined so many people would cheer us on. Thanks to that, I'm having a happy day."
Meanwhile, Kwak Min-kyung and Shin Seung-yong appeared on the TVING original variety show EXchange / Transit Love season 4. At the time, the two attracted much attention for directly pursuing their Xes, but they did not succeed in reuniting. After filming they grew closer and recently confessed to dating.
