'Sound Planet Festival 2026' third lineup has been revealed.
On the 27th, the third lineup released through the Sound Planet Festival's official SNS account included Crying Nut, a symbol of Korea's punk rock, as well as Japan's PompadollS (Pompadolls), ASTERISM (Asterism), and Gaku (Gaku), plus Nnbuneuil, D82, cotoba, Kikuhashi, Haeng Ronan, Jeong Hyobin, Joyfuls, Re.may, An Hyoju, Gaehwa, totaling 14 acts.
In particular, Crying Nut, a team that has long represented the domestic band scene and been loved for its explosive live energy, is expected to deliver an intense performance at this festival as well.
The previously released first and second lineups included ZUTOMAYO (Zutomayo), which has secured a global fan base beyond Japan with experimental sound and a unique sensibility; UVERworld, a rock band representing Japan; Kim Junsu (XIA), who combines explosive vocal power and performance; YB, a national band that has led Korea's rock scene; Guckkasten, known for explosive live performances and overwhelming sound; the national treasure-level premium vocal group Urban Zakapa; and Damons Eye, beloved for emotional sound and relatable messages.
Kim Cheon-seong, CEO of 'Sound Planet Festival,' said, "Sound Planet Festival was not intended to be a festival that simply lists famous artists, but wanted to create a stage that shows the current live scene and the future music scene together. Also, as the first step for the festival's global expansion, we started with Korea-Japan cultural exchange and plan to present gradually expanded stages next year and the year after next."
