IVE is continuing its relentless global push with the release of its new Japanese mini album "LUCID DREAM".
According to agency Starship Entertainment, IVE released the Japanese mini 4th album "LUCID DREAM" today (27th) at midnight across various online music sites.
This new record includes the title track of the same name "LUCID DREAM" and three original Japanese tracks, including the pre-released "Fashion(패션)" and "JIGSAW(직쏘)". In addition, Japanese versions of the double title tracks "REBEL HEART(레블 하트)" and "ATTITUDE(애티튜드)" and the album track "Thank U(땡큐)" from last year's mini 3rd album IVE EMPATHY were added, bringing the total to six tracks.
The title track "LUCID DREAM" is a song that portrays "dream" not as a mere means of escape from reality but as an autonomous space where one faces oneself and becomes honest with one's emotions. IVE's characteristic hopeful energy and uplifting melody combine to offer a distinctly new charm. The music video, released ahead of the audio, uses a "butterfly" as a metaphor for dreams to create a dreamlike and sensuous visual, and it has been praised for completing IVE's unique sensibility through the harmony of unreal elements and everyday spaces.
IVE has built a solid presence in Japan. Their third album "Be Alright(비 올라잇)", released last year, reached No. 1 on Billboard Japan's top album sales, and "After LIKE(애프터 라이크)" surpassed 200 million cumulative streams. They also increased public recognition by performing at the "Rock in Japan Festival 2025" and by regularly appearing on popular local music and variety programs.
Meanwhile, IVE, currently successfully conducting its second world tour "SHOW WHAT I AM", recently completed a successful performance at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan and is set to return to Tokyo Dome in June, raising expectations that the new release will further generate explosive global synergy.
