Actor Yu Hyeri shared an update that she had cosmetic surgery.
Recently, a video titled "Yu Hyeri after: everyone was surprised by her face-lift two weeks later" was uploaded to the 'BLACKLABEL: high-end makeover show' channel.
Earlier, Yu Hyeri confessed concerns about aging, saying, "When I turned 30, I started to worry inside and my face sank. It became hollow, smile lines formed, I developed a lot of dark circles, and my skin started to sag."
Meanwhile, when Yu Hyeri returned to the channel, she drew attention with a noticeably changed appearance. She greeted viewers, saying, "This is rookie actor Yu Hyeri who returned to her 30s," and said, "When I went to the hair salon, people made a fuss that something looked completely different and I looked younger. I had actually sagged this much, hadn't I? I had severe dark circles under my eyes. Because I changed so much, some people at first couldn't recognize me."
She added, "Actually, the reason I wore glasses was that when the area under my eyes sagged, it could draw attention elsewhere, right? I used that to my advantage and always wore glasses. And I had smile lines and sagging skin, and when I wore glasses it also had the effect of making my face look smaller, so I wore them, but now I don't. I don't need glasses anymore," she said of the change.
When asked which part she liked most after the surgery, Yu Hyeri said, "For me it was the smile lines and under the eyes. The area under my eyes was uneven, so I had the under-eye fat repositioned and also had a bit of a lift on the side. I pulled this area a bit. Since they were pulling anyway, I asked them to pull it strongly. I thought it would come down again anyway, so I asked them to make it a little tighter," she revealed.
She added, "I feel so good when I put on makeup. Originally, it was wrinkled so no matter how much I applied it kept sliding down. Now I apply a little and it feels lifted up. I guess you could say my mood brightened. The depression is gone and I experienced two effects. I saw both mental and physical effects," she said with satisfaction.
