Actor Kim Gyuri recently suffered a robbery at her home, and circumstances have emerged suggesting the suspect identified the house's location through a broadcast and then prepared the crime, causing shock.
On the 26th, Channel A reported that the suspect, who was arrested on charges of robbery and injury at Kim Gyuri's home, told police in an investigation that "I watched the broadcast video on YouTube and confirmed the location."
Kim Gyuri suffered a robbery at her home in Bukchon Hanok Village, Jongno District, Seoul, at around 9 p.m. on the 20th. At the time, Kim Gyuri and one female acquaintance who was in the house were subjected to theft of valuables and assault. Fortunately, while they were bound, the two escaped the house when the guards' attention lapsed, sought help from a passerby and averted the crisis.
The suspect later turned himself in to the police, but Kim Gyuri sustained fractures and bruises, prompting sympathy. The Seoul Jongno Police Station arrested the suspect on charges of robbery and injury and was investigating the specific circumstances of the crime. In this context, the suspect reportedly gave the aforementioned statement.
Kim Gyuri's Bukchon Hanok Village home was actually revealed when she appeared on the KBS 2TV variety show Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant in 2022. The house is a hanok that Kim Gyuri uses as a studio, and the show introduced it as a space used as a gallery by Kim Gyuri, who also works as a painter, featuring hanok scenery not commonly seen in the city.
