The group LE SSERAFIM is demonstrating global strength by simultaneously dominating domestic and international album·digital charts with their new full-length album and title track "BOOMPALA" (Boompala).
On the 25th, according to Hanteo Chart, a site that compiles album sales, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae)'s second full-length album ''PUREFLOW' pt.1' grabbed the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart (tracking period: May 18–24).
The album sold more than 430,000 copies on its release day alone to reach the top of the daily chart, and with only three days of tracking it swept the weekly chart as well. It also debuted at No. 3 on the worldwide iTunes albums chart immediately after release and has remained near the top for four consecutive days.
Additionally, the title track "BOOMPALA" entered Apple Music's "Today's Top 100: Global" chart at No. 46 and climbed to No. 43, while it is cruising at No. 3 on the "Today's Top 100: Korea" chart.
In particular, the "BOOMPALA" music video proved its buzz by rapidly surpassing 10 million YouTube views around 4:20 a.m. today (the 26th), about four days after its release. Critics say the members' kitschy energy and stylish visuals—turning fear and anxiety into delight and enjoying a festival-like atmosphere—have precisely targeted global listeners' tastes.
Actual global indicators are also dazzling. The video landed on YouTube's "daily popular music videos" chart in 17 countries and regions worldwide, including Korea (No. 3), Japan (No. 8) and Hong Kong (No. 8), and ranked No. 37 on the overall global chart—the second-highest position among K-pop groups—demonstrating overwhelming presence.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will meet fans on the festival stage at the 2026 Weverse Con Festival: a festival held June 6–7 at KSPO DOME and the 88 Lawn Square in Seoul Olympic Park. Beginning July 11–12 in Incheon, they will open the dazzling curtain on their second world tour, "2026 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'PUREFLOW'," and in August they will make their first appearance at Japan's largest urban music festival, "SUMMER SONIC 2026."
