'Space idol' finally unveils its veil.
GRIM Production, a subculture virtual label, launched its project unit Space Horror today (26) at 12 p.m. noon, releasing their first digital single "Space Horror (SPACE HORROR)" on various online music sites and officially making their debut.
Space Horror is a project unit that was formed through the virtual streamer singing contest 'Virtual ON-LIVE! 2', which was held on Naver CHZZK in March and drew attention.
After fierce competition, four virtual artists with different personalities and worldviews — Rimo (RIMO), Moi (MOI), Mokoparfé, and Yeon Haneul — who were finally selected, came together as one team.
The team name 'Space Horror' carries the intriguing meaning that four people with completely different colors were miraculously connected through a single audition, making the process itself 'like a single horror story.' Through this project, they are expected to be reborn perfectly as a visual unit with a mysterious and intense 'space idol' concept, transcending the images of the individual streamers.
The title track of the same name, 'Space Horror (SPACE HORROR),' is an electronic dance track notable for its striking lead synth that grabs the ear and its heart-pounding, energetic sound. IGLoo, a hit producer and composer representing the subculture scene, took the helm to raise the song's completeness. The highly addictive chorus and easy-listening lyrics blend with a rhythmic melody to deliver an intense musical thrill.
Additionally, the music video, which begins with the shocking breaking-news headline 'Exclusive: mysterious pretty girl found in space,' piques listeners' curiosity from the opening. Through original illustrations that maximize each member's new charms, stylish animation, and various design techniques, it promises an immersive experience as if watching a circulating horror tale.
Earlier, 'Virtual ON-LIVE!' which gave birth to Space Horror quickly established itself as the undisputed leader in virtual music competitions after its first edition in 2025.
