On the 27th episode of EBS Seo Jang-hoon's Neighbor Millionaire, the man known as the "elevator millionaire," Kim Ki-young, appears.
Kim Ki-young leads a corporations that invents and manufactures specialized elevators. In particular, Kim Ki-young harbored a grand intention to restore Korea's equestrian culture and invested more than 35 billion won to create a roughly 20,000-pyeong-scale mega equestrian center. From therapeutic riding to riding education, he is leading efforts to expand Korea's equestrian culture.
Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Ye-won, who visited the equestrian center, were greatly surprised from the entrance. The vast dome-shaped indoor riding arena overwhelms the eye with a majestic visual reminiscent of the Roman Colosseum.
The roof covered with 7,700 pieces of glass is also a spectacle. Regarding this, Kim Ki-young said, "I personally designed it," and "I bought a general construction company to build this equestrian center," prompting surprise.
The ultra-luxurious stables were also revealed; currently, about 60 horses live in a total of 112 stables, providing not only the comfortable "one horse one stall" environment but also top-quality hay and a systematic management system.
Especially when the horse known in the British royal family for pulling carriages, "Terius," appeared, the site buzzed at its overwhelming physical presence. Seeing Terius's large hoof size, optimized for pulling carriages, Seo Jang-hoon exclaimed, "Its hoof is as big as mine," unable to hide his surprise.
The equestrian center's oldest star, a 31-year-old Western pony equivalent to about 80 in human years, "Sharon," appeared. Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Ye-won were captivated by Sharon's adorable charm and even flattered her with carrots.
It turned out that Seo Jang-hoon is a notorious horse hunter. He said, "I look up every movie or drama that features horses."
