Actor Gi Eun-se revealed the interior of her newly renovated Pyeongchang-dong home after facing controversy over construction complaints and shared a surprising update.
Gi Eun-se recently posted several photos of the interior of her Pyeongchang-dong home on her social media and left a short note saying, "How should I describe this feeling..."
The released photos showed a spacious area highlighted by high ceilings and wood-tone interior. She was also photographed sitting on the floor with her pet dog, enjoying a relaxed moment. The stylish new home drew attention as it blended with the nature-friendly atmosphere characteristic of Pyeongchang-dong.
Pyeongchang-dong, known as a neighborhood where several celebrities including Lee Hyori reside, has directed attention to Gi Eun-se's news as a new neighbor.
However, the move-in process was not entirely smooth. During the remodeling work on the Pyeongchang-dong detached house, some residents complained about construction vehicle parking, noise, and dust, sparking controversy. Gi Eun-se's side immediately apologized. The agency explained, "After the complaints arose, we have been continuously communicating with residents and addressing vehicle traffic and cleaning issues."
Gi Eun-se herself also 공개하며 the DM she sent to residents and apologized, saying "We are sorry for causing inconvenience," and even showed herself cleaning around the site, taking a sincere approach. Afterwards, residents continued to communicate with site officials, and as promises were made to improve parking and trash issues, the conflict gradually eased.
Online reactions have been mixed. Some pointed out, "Even during construction, basic consideration is necessary," while others argued, "Since there was an apology and improvement measures, excessive criticism should be restrained," and "Unexpected variables can occur during construction."
Meanwhile, Gi Eun-se announced a new start in the new space. Pyeongchang-dong is also known as the place top star Lee Hyori moved to from Jeju Island. Interest continues in the Pyeongchang-dong home that was completed after many ups and downs.
