Comedian Yoon Taek repaired an elderly person's house.
On the 16th, Yoon Taek uploaded a video titled 'I gave an abandoned house to 30 hoarding people gathered from across the country' to his YouTube channel YoonTaekTV.
In the video, Yoon Taek and 30 volunteers visited a remote house on Wolho Island in Yeosu, South Jeolla. The elderly resident said, "My husband passed away, my eldest son died, and I can't get any news from my youngest son," and said she was living in a house that absolutely needed repairs.
Yoon Taek personally planned and recruited the 'Remote: Guest volunteer group' and began repairs with them. The volunteer group gathered from across the country for the day and included craftsmen in each field such as wallpapering, carpentry, and underfloor heating.
After the agreed time ended, Yoon Taek escorted the elderly resident and looked around the house. The resident was moved and expressed gratitude, taking each volunteer's hand one by one.
Internet users reacted with comments such as "The algorithm led me to see this for the first time, and thank you for doing such a good thing. The world is still beautiful," and "I commented and cheered for the people who gathered to do good. Thank you, everyone."
Meanwhile, in a previous interview, Yoon Taek said, "I personally intended to do (appear on 'I Am a Natural Person') for just 10 years, but it became 15 years. I will stay until 20 years and then leave."
