Actor Hwang Jung-eum revealed her new home, which features newlywed furniture in many places.
On the 26th, a video titled "A day of self-dyeing with my 72-year-old father" was uploaded to Hwang Jung-eum's YouTube channel.
That day Hwang Jung-eum said, "I moved during this time. So today I'll show you my new home," and gave a virtual house tour of her new home.
She first introduced the living room, saying, "This is the wooden floor. My mother likes flowers and plants so she grows them all so prettily."
However, two large chairs placed in the middle of the living room drew attention. When the producer asked about the chairs, Hwang Jung-eum noted the traces of years remaining throughout, saying, "I brought them (from my previous home). They seem about 15 years old. Maybe 10 years? You can see they're vintage."
The producer asked, "Why are the colors like this?", pointing out the red and green colors, and Hwang Jung-eum, after wondering, "Why did I really buy such colors?", said, "At that time, my saju had red so I liked it and bought it. I prefer it when the 'fire' energy is stronger. So I think I bought red back then. If I were buying now, I think I'd pick a natural color. Furthermore, the dining table in the kitchen was also brought from her previous home. Hwang Jung-eum said, "This is probably about 10 years old," and when asked, "Was this also newlywed furniture?", she replied, "Yes. I bought it when I was newlywed."

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-eum married a non-celebrity one year younger than her in 2016, had two sons, and later divorced. The two went through a divorce crisis in 2020 but reconciled and then had their second son. However, divorce rumors resurfaced in 2024 after Hwang Jung-eum's provocative post, and news of a divorce lawsuit followed. Ultimately, the two completed the divorce process in May last year and became strangers. Hwang Jung-eum is currently raising her two sons alone.<
