"EXchange / Transit Love 2" Lee Na-yeon spoke out about the controversy over serving as an emcee at a college festival.
Lee Na-yeon uploaded a video titled "A crime of living too diligently, Yonsei festival MC controversy....explanatory video" to her YouTube channel "Il-dan Lee Na-yeon" on the 25th.
In the video, Lee Na-yeon said, "Back when being an announcer in my early 20s was just a dream, before I even prepared to be an announcer, I dreamed that I would definitely become an announcer and stand as the MC for akaraka. Several times when I was asked in interviews what I would like to do if I became an announcer, I said I wanted to host school events."
She went on, "Then I was invited this time. It wasn't simply that I succeeded; it felt like I had achieved a dream."
In particular, regarding being mocked, Lee Na-yeon said, "While hosting the akaraka event there was a cheer time in the middle. They told me to do that dance. They gave me a chance to try cheering. Because I am someone who works hard, I took all the opportunities given to me and said I would do it. It was much harder than I thought. I can't tell you how much I was mocked."
However, she received malicious comments such as "zoomma bounce bounce," "what is this, my hands and feet almost cringed," and "is Yonsei struggling these days? They wouldn't have paid a few hundred or a few thousand to show something like that, would they?"
In response, Lee Na-yeon said, "I lived diligently, so is that funny? I worked hard. Why do you do that to someone who lives diligently? I really worked hard. I only worked hard," and released videos showing the preparations she had made.
