Adult actor Min Do-yun revealed a heartbreaking family history and showed tears.
On the 25th broadcast of KBS2 variety program 'Malja Show', Malja grandma Kim Young-hee spotted an unexpected guest in the audience.
Kim Young-hee said, "I made three adult films with him as an actor. I don't mean we filmed bed scenes together; we met as a director and an actor," and joked, "But why did you come? Did you come because you want to work together on the next project?", eliciting laughter. In response, Min Do-yun revealed, "Actually I didn't tell anyone and sent a Malja Show worry letter, and it got selected," which piqued curiosity.
Afterward, he cautiously opened up about his current situation. Min Do-yun said, "I haven't lived alone for very long. I ended up living alone regardless of my will," and added, "It's not a divorce. I never married."
He then mentioned his family history and eventually broke into tears. He said, "Since I was 9 years old I had a paternal grandmother who raised me like a mother, but as her dementia worsened she went to a nursing home," and confessed, "I feel guilty every time I see her." What was more heartbreaking came after that. Min Do-yun said, "One week after my grandmother went to the nursing home, my father died in an accident," and admitted, "I was suddenly left all alone."
The atmosphere at the scene fell solemn as Min Do-yun calmly recounted the unexpected sequence of family tragedies.
