Comedian Shim Jin-hwa opened up about giving up on having a second child and living with her pet dog.
Shim Jin-hwa said on the 25th, "This morning. It might have been better if I had given birth to a child, but since I don't know, thanks to Taepung I am grateful every morning."
Along with this, Shim Jin-hwa released a video of her pet dog Taepung approaching her with a stuffed toy in its mouth and wagging its tail.
Shim Jin-hwa married comedian Kim Won-hyo in 2011. Since then the two steadily tried, including attempting in vitro fertilization to have a child, but they were unable to succeed in becoming pregnant due to unexplained infertility.
Eventually Shim Jin-hwa revealed calmly last year, "We have decided to live well without children. Thank you to the many people who cheered for us. You may stop cheering for our child now," evoking sympathy.
