Singer and musical actor Lee Ji-hoon recently shared sad news after the controversy over overbearing parents.
Lee Ji-hoon said on the 24th, "I earnestly ask everyone to pray. Right now Ru-hee is struggling a lot with a high fever and cough, and I heard from the test results that she is co-infected with parainfluenza virus and bocavirus."
He continued, "Seeing a young child lying sick and weak breaks me as a parent. On top of that, Aya is pregnant, but her thyroid levels have come back abnormal and her physical condition is not good, so she is undergoing continuous tests and being monitored," he said.
He went on, "With many things happening at once, to be honest my heart is very tired and afraid. Still, at times like this I feel we must hold on to God and pray, so I am asking for help," he said, revealing his difficult feelings.
Lee Ji-hoon asked, "Please pray intercessory prayers so Ru-hee can fully recover, so Aya and the baby in her womb can be kept healthy, and so our family does not lose faith and can get through this time well. The prayers of the congregation are a great source of strength. Thank you sincerely."
Meanwhile, Lee Ji-hoon married 14-years-younger Japanese wife Miura Ayane in 2021 and they had daughter Ru-hee in 2024. Ayane is pregnant with their second child and was recently embroiled in a controversy over overbearing parents.
Recently she posted a provocative message saying she found candy wrappers in daughter Ru-hee's daycare bag and was shocked because the baby still isn't eating salt, which sparked controversy. After that the two posted an apology and tried to make amends, but a video resurfaced showing them making young Ru-hee eat spicy jjambbong in a mukbang, drawing criticism for hypocrisy.
