Actor Cho Jungseok once again addressed long-standing misunderstandings surrounding his wedding with his wife Gummy, and shared a cheerful family story by even revealing that their two daughters look like carbon copies of him.
Recently, a preview on Hyeri's YouTube channel "Hyel's Club" featured Cho Jungseok granting his appearance and showcasing his trademark witty banter.
Hyeri warmly introduced him, saying, "We met on the drama 'Two Cops' and it feels like it's been nine years since we last met," and Cho Jungseok expressed affection, saying, "Hyeri feels like the youngest sibling." He added with a laugh, "I don't have younger siblings either, but I'm the youngest."
In particular, Cho Jungseok drew attention by directly addressing the still-persistent misunderstandings about the wedding that day. He said, "Many people still think that way, but I didn't hold a wedding ceremony," and added, "An acquaintance asked, 'Why didn't you invite me to the wedding?'" which provoked laughter.
In fact, Cho Jungseok and Gummy, instead of holding an elaborate ceremony in 2018, formed their bond as a married couple through a vow ceremony attended only by family and close acquaintances. Earlier, Gummy also appeared on Daesung's YouTube channel last year and explained why they did not hold a wedding, saying, "It was too difficult to decide whom to invite and whom not to invite."
Along with that, Cho Jungseok also revealed stories about the appearances of his two daughters. On a recent live broadcast on "Cheonggyesan Daengi Records," he confessed, "The first is a daughter and the second is also a daughter," adding, "I thought the first looked a lot like me and quietly hoped the second would resemble Gummy, but to my surprise, she looks more like me than the first did."
He then joked, "The second is just me. I was really surprised," and added, "In our house it's three Cho Jungseok and one Gummy," which drew more laughter. Still, he showed affection for his daughters, saying, "They have my face, but the second daughter's personality seems to resemble Gummy."
Cho Jungseok lightheartedly dispelled the years-long wedding misunderstanding. With the added story of his two daughters being "Cho Jungseok copies," the piece conveyed a warm feeling.
