The band ONEWE released a single 2nd album Highlight medley.
ONEWE (Yonghun, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong, Giuk) posted the Highlight medley of their single 2nd album '點 : The Quiver' (점 : 더 퀴버) on their official YouTube channel on the 24th, exciting fans.
The video included fairy-tale-like illustrations featuring objects such as a compass and wings that capture the mood of each track.
The included track "Coordinates" captures a fateful meeting that draws closer to a single coordinate. "Compass" is a song about moving toward a single direction despite crossed destinies. "FLY" sings of the wish that someone will remember you.
The title track 'ICARUS' is based on a lyrical alternative rock sound and reinterprets the figure of Icarus from Greek mythology through ONEWE's perspective. As the song progresses toward the latter part, the explosively expanding guitar sound and layered chorus leave a deep aftertaste.
The single 2nd album '點 : The Quiver' is the single that announces the start of ONEWE's newly developed point, line, plane series. The single as a whole captures the taut tremor at the tip of the compass needle searching for coordinates and the subtle thrill of facing an unnamed unknown world. It unfolds the emotions that traverse the boundary between excitement and fear in ONEWE's fairy-tale narrative, drawing the starting point of a new musical voyage.
As with previous works, the members are credited across all tracks, further solidifying ONEWE's musical identity. Member Kanghyun wrote and composed the title track 'ICARUS' and 'Coordinates,' and Dongmyeong participated in writing and composing 'FLY.' Among them, Giuk led the production of all the included tracks.
