Singer Park Gun and broadcaster Han Young couple once again refute continuing divorce rumors.
On the 24th, the SBS variety show Dong Sang-i Mom 2-You Are My Destiny (abbreviated Dong Sang-i Mom 2) posted a video titled "Park Gun♥Han Young couple surrounded by malicious rumors?! The couple's true feelings as they endure baseless gossip" on SBS's official YouTube channel. The released video included a preview of Park Gun and Han Young that will air on the 26th episode of Dong Sang-i Mom 2, attracting attention.
The video began with a YouTube segment that produced 'fake news' claiming Han Young and Park Gun had decided to divorce. In reality, Park Gun was calm. Han Young appeared holding their pet and cheerfully called out yeobo while he was washing his feet in the yard in front of the tent.
However, even if the couple is actually living well, the anguish over the 'fake news' that shakes them remained. Han Young expressed her upset, saying "we're living well, so I don't know why they keep saying we divorced." Park Gun also looked perplexed and at a loss.
Han Young went on to say, "I became really sensitive and it was hard. So I talked a lot about this with my husband," revealing her feelings. In particular, she added a meaningful warning to Park Gun, saying, "I think I've done enough now."
Park Gun and Han Young overcame an eight-year age difference and transformed from an older-man younger-woman couple into husband and wife in April 2022. Since Han Young is a former member of the girl group LPG, they initially evoked warmth as a couple from the music industry with a senior-junior background.
However, after their marriage, divorce and discord rumors were repeatedly raised. In reality there was no problem between Park Gun and Han Young, but 'fake news' continued to harass the two.
As a result, Park Gun appeared on the SBS variety show My Little Old Boy in January to directly deny the discord rumors. On that broadcast he said, "My wife spent nearly two years visiting hospitals and had a hard time because of the child's issues. I think misunderstandings arose during a sensitive period."
He also once again refuted the divorce rumors on KBS 1TV's morning show Achimmadang, which aired in March. At the same time he showed magnanimity, saying, "I consider that also interest and accept it with gratitude." It remains to be seen whether the 'fake news' surrounding Park Gun and Han Young can come to an end on Dong Sang-i Mom 2.
