BOYNEXTDOOR has changed dramatically.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jaehyeon, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak) posted concept photos and films of the 'HOME' 'NAVIGATOR' version of their first full-length album on the group's official social media and HYBE Labels' YouTube channel at 10 p.m. on the 23rd. They opened 28 group and individual photos and videos at once, drawing a strong reaction.
The six members in the photos exude intense energy with charismatic eyes and provocative poses. The feeling contrasts with the friendliness shown in previous activities, like "the boys next door." In a solemn atmosphere as if about to set out, a serious attitude and confidence toward the first full-length album come through.
Individual photos highlight six distinct visuals. Seongho shows a sharp, chic style; Liu displays a hip sensibility and confident aura; Myung Jaehyeon stands out with a refined charm that also expresses freedom. Taesan brings a stylish, movie-protagonist vibe, Ihan flaunts a distinctive presence in the crowd with a bold expression, and Unhak captures attention with a rebellious gaze and youthful charm.
In the concept film released together, BOYNEXTDOOR continues their own declaration. "You will eventually knock. You cannot help but be curious about the house we built (HOME)," and "We will flip all of this over," are bold messages that leave a deep impression. The passages mentioning various spaces — a room that still holds the warmth of family, a room that burned with passion and energy through nights awake, a room that contains thoughts and feelings left after practice — amplify curiosity about the stories contained in the new release.
The first full-length album HOME, set for release at 6 p.m. on June 8, is an album in which BOYNEXTDOOR honestly unpacks the emotions and memories they have experienced since debut. They made songs anyone can relate to, taking as themes the team's foundations — members and fans — love, parting, and the growth and pain of youth.
BOYNEXTDOOR plans to sequentially reveal concept photos and films of the remaining versions — WEAVER, BUNKER, SWEET HOME — from June 24 to 26. On the 31st they will premiere portions of new songs as a track spoiler.
