Model Yeo Yeon-hee strongly denied dating rumors with chef Son Jong-won.
Recently, on Yeo Yeon-hee's YouTube channel "Yeo Yeon-heeing," she released a video titled "I do that difficult survival twice."
That day, Yeo Yeon-hee was asked by the YouTube production team about the "recent dating rumors," referring to the rumors involving chef Son Jong-won. Yeo Yeon-hee said, "I wanted to say this somewhere, so it's good. I should say it on my YouTube," and explained, "No. Absolutely not."
She continued, "He's an older brother I actually know, and apparently some post went up somewhere. By chance, a dog photo he posted looked so much like our Laun. It's not the same dog, and my former company said they got a lot of phone calls. Reporters asked for my personal number," she explained. Yeo Yeon-hee laughed and said, "But it didn't make me that upset. Because he is very popular."
Then she said, "But I remember something. Among the YouTube comments were 'Does this model not work and only date?,' 'I thought she'd date a studious guy but she's dating Tteong-tteong?'. I'm smart. Because I'm smart, I'm still working," she said angrily.
Earlier, suspicions circulated on social media and online communities that Yeo Yeon-hee and Son Jong-won might be dating. However, Yeo Yeon-hee directly denied the dating rumors, and the matter was settled as a harmless incident.
Meanwhile, Yeo Yeon-hee placed third in season 3 of OnStyle's "Korea's Next Top Model" in 2012, and recently appeared on tvN's style survival show "Kill It."
