On the 23rd, the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Royal Nemesis' (writer Kang Hyun-joo, directors Han Tae-seop and Kim Hyun-woo) depicted Shin Seori (Lim Ji-yeon) and Cha Segye (Heo Nam-jun) confirming their feelings for each other and sharing a kiss.
On the flight to Jeju for a commercial shoot, Cha Segye lost consciousness, but Shin Seori's desperate cry reached him and saved his life. Cha Segye had suspected that the deepfake, terrorism, rumors, and the private equity Kaiserman were all the work of Choi Mundo (Jang Seung-jo), and while Choi Mundo regretted that Cha Segye had recovered, he preemptively took care of nurses and others who could dig into the past to eliminate future trouble.
After being discharged and moving to the resort, while each person had their own time and their mental state crumbled, Yun Ji-hyo (Lee Se-hee), who had come to Jeju for a vacation, mistakenly thought Baek Gwang-nam (Kim Min-seok) was Shin Seori's "supercar boyfriend," causing a comical misunderstanding. After Hong Bu-seon (Baik Jiwon) persuaded her, Shin Seori decided to wear a revealing dress.
On the day of the commercial shoot, seeing Shin Seori appear like a Greek goddess, Cha Segye became unnecessarily angry. This caused staff complaints to build up, and when Choi Mundo heard about it he smiled meaningfully, saying, "I think the timing has finally come."
After finishing the commercial shoot and planning an afterparty, Shin Seori got lost in the woods while helping an elderly man who said he was looking for his grandson on the way back to the resort. Although a resort employee took care of the elderly man, Shin Seori, who had lost her way returning, was terrified, and when Cha Segye appeared he instead became angry rather than expressing concern. Hurt by this, Shin Seori tried to put distance between herself and Cha Segye.
After the afterparty ended, Cha Segye, worried about a very drunk Shin Seori, followed her. As a natural opportunity for conversation arose, the tidal flats opened due to low tide and the two arrived on an island. While talking, Shin Seori read remorse on Cha Segye's face. But Cha Segye said he was not sorry and added, "I'm going to do something now, so if you want to run away, now is your only chance," as he moved in to kiss her. Shin Seori said she must not fall for him but that there was only one reason she might, and she grabbed Cha Segye, who replied, "You grabbed me first," and kissed her.
Their sweet time was short-lived. At the same time, Choi Mundo met Mo Tae-hee (Chae Seo-an), who had been set up with Cha Segye, and hatched a dark plot. In the subsequent released preview, a scene showing Cha Segye in danger was depicted, raising curiosity.
