Ailee opened up about her feelings after once again facing a worrisome situation during the in vitro fertilization procedure.
Recently, a video titled "second transfer, this time I hoped a miracle would come" was released on the YouTube channel "Illyne marriage diary."
The video showed Ailee and her husband Choi Si-hoon preparing for a second IVF transfer for their second child. Choi Si-hoon, who said it has already been six months since they started IVF, said, "The doctor said the embryo quality is really good," and added, "We decided to try this time, and if the result isn't good, we'll give her body time to recover and proceed more slowly."
However, an unexpected variable appeared. Regarding the injection that must be given just before the transfer, Choi Si-hoon cautiously admitted, "I think I administered it wrong." He said, "It was supposed to be one shot a day, but I gave two shots, morning and evening," and showed self-reproach, saying, "My wife is very worried and I am also very worried."
Previously, Ailee had faced several difficulties during the IVF process. After egg retrieval, she complained of severe abdominal bloating and constipation, saying, "My belly kept swelling and I had so much gas," and, "It felt like even when I took a deep breath it didn't all go in." The egg retrieval results later brought the happy news of seven successful fertilizations as five-day embryos, but another problem arose: the endometrium had not become thick enough.
At the time, Ailee said, "They told me there were no injuries to the uterus and the test results were fine, but they didn't know why it wasn't swelling," and expressed her distress, saying, "We've come this far, and I'm afraid this could cause another problem."
Each time, Choi Si-hoon was a strong support at her side. Having comforted her by saying, "Let's think of it as swelling," he again prepared perilla oil pasta and pork spare ribs after the transfer to help restore his wife's strength.
Meanwhile, Ailee and Choi Si-hoon are undergoing IVF after their marriage to have a second child. Even through this difficult process, many people are offering support as the couple comforts each other and moves forward step by step.
