'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' Lee Kyung-sil showed love for her daughter-in-law.
On the 23rd episode of MBN 'Sokpuri Show Dongchimi' (hereafter 'Dongchimi'), Lee Kyung-sil, Cho Hye-lyeon, and Kim Ji-sun appeared. Lee Kyung-sil said she was so stressed because of Cho Hye-lyeon that she complained of pain during rehearsals at the rehearsal room for the play 'I Love You, Mom,' drawing attention. Kim Ji-sun, who was cheerfully telling the story, said, "I got pregnant, gave birth, exercised continuously and did slow jogging every day to manage my figure. But if breasts are a complex, I think it's okay to have surgery," saying plastic surgery is not always the answer and that she had solved only one aspect she couldn't handle through her own efforts by means of surgery.
Then Kim Ji-sun wiped her eyes as she announced her eldest son's enlistment. Kim Ji-sun said, "My son enlisted in the air force and they said there, 'we will separate now.' That phrase just made me cry, but my husband next to me said, 'It will be fun when he goes to the military.' I was so angry I said, 'Then you go instead,'" conveying her position that contrasted with her husband's.
The package the son sent after enlisting contained the clothes he wore on his enlistment day, the jumper he usually wore. Kim Ji-sun said, "When I opened the box I could smell his scent from that clothing and felt many emotions. I thought, I raised this child, he is adapting to the world," and cried. Cho Hye-lyeon and Lee Hyun also cried with her. Kim Yong Man said, "You're still 11 years old and you cry?" looking at Lee Hyun in surprise. Choi Hong-rim said plainly, "A son becomes an adult after serving in the military. He becomes a person. I told my wife not to cry."
Lee Kyung-sil said, "Enlistment is fine. Premarital pregnancy is what surprised me," adding, "What surprised me was forming a family. He formed a family as he pleased. That's more surprising than going to the military," making everyone laugh. Lee Kyung-sil, who had received congratulatory texts here and there because of Son Bo-seung, whose premarital pregnancy article broke at the time, became even more upset.
