Actor Gang Dong-won, who reappeared on "Pinggego" after two years, revealed the latest on his nephew.
On the 23rd, a new video titled "Group project is an excuse" was released on the YouTube channel "Tteunddeun." Gang Dong-won, Park Ji-hyun, Oh Jung-se, and Shin Ha Kyun appeared in the video and talked.
That day Yu Jae-seok opened by saying, "Dong-won appeared two years ago and talked about his nephew."
Earlier, in May 2024 Gang Dong-won appeared on "Pinggego" and mentioned that when he appeared on "You Quiz" in the past the segment about his nephew had been edited out, saying with a laugh, "My nephew watched 'You Quiz' and contacted me, complaining that I didn't tell his story. Pouting, he said, 'I told the story. Senior Yu Jae-seok cut it, it wasn't me.'"
In response Yu Jae-seok, startled, denied, "No, no. I didn't edit it," and after mentioning Gang Dong-won's nephew's name he lamented, "I didn't cut it. I get cut too."
Gang Dong-won also said that as his nephew reached the upper grades of elementary school he began to understand the ways of the world, adding, "When he was in the lower grades he didn't know, but as he moved up to the upper grades he began to know things, so I covered my face and went to a convenience store, but my nephew would say, 'Gang Dong-won is here,' or roll down the car window and say, 'Gang Dong-won is here.'"
When asked about his nephew's current condition, Gang Dong-won said, "Is he now in second year of middle school? It seems like he's going through middle school syndrome," and Yu Jae-seok, who is raising a child of a similar age, sympathized, saying, "Because they're adolescents. It will be different from elementary school."
To this, Gang Dong-won admitted, "It seems he has a lot of angst," and Yu Jae-seok added, "That's about when the angst begins."
