The group Hearts2Hearts' hit song "RUDE!" has surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.
As of the 23rd, "RUDE!" achieved a cumulative 100 million streams, marking the first K-pop girl group song released this year to reach the milestone and an achievement attained about three months after the song's release.
With this, Hearts2Hearts now holds three Spotify songs with 100 million streams — "The Chase," "STYLE" and "RUDE!" — in just 1 year and 3 months since their debut, reaffirming their powerful global popularity. In particular, coming a day after the music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube on the 22nd, they added the global streaming milestone of hundreds of millions in a single day, celebrating a double success.
Released in February, "RUDE!" is a house-based dance track that captures a bold charm unbound by fixed rules. Since its release it has topped Spotify Korea's weekly top songs chart for three consecutive weeks; been No. 1 on China's QQ Music K-pop weekly chart for seven weeks and was selected as the best K-pop single of the first quarter; topped the Circle weekly streaming chart for five consecutive weeks; reached No. 1 on Apple Music Korea's top 100; and achieved five music show wins, sweeping major domestic and international charts and maintaining long-running popularity.
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts will heat up campus excitement by performing at Hanyang University's festival stage on the 29th. Then on the 30th they are scheduled to appear at "M COUNTDOWN X MEGACONCERT" at Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, where they will present a spectacular stage.
